Our Journey
Delano Home Health Care is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Home Health Agency. This means we can offer a higher level of care than the vast majority of our competitors, the kinds of in-home nursing services that personal care attendants cannot do.
In addition, we are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. This is a voluntary extra step which signals that we adhere to stringent national standards for quality client outcomes, staff training and safety. Our compassionate home health nurses complete twelve hours of continuing education and training each year, and we promote and adhere to best practices and protocols for in-home nursing.
Clients may request LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) level of care depending on the services they need. We specialize in medication management, working to eliminate medication errors which cause 40% of all hospital re-admissions.
